The core theme of my writing is the history and culture of the San Francisco Peninsula and the greater Bay Area, and my personal experiences here. I have published five books with a sixth on the way. All of them – through stories, essays, poetry, and personal reflections – capture the essence of this region in a holistic way that I hope gives the reader a feeling of having lived here. The Bay Area is an amazing place, a mythological journey through time from the Ohlone tribes to rise of Silicon Valley. Join me as I celebrate its past, present, and future.
